Brake Rotor: Installation

  1. Install the rotor to the vehicle.
  2. Install the wheel bearings and seal. See Front Suspension.
  3. Install the brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER  .
  4. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
  5. Depress the brake pedal.
  6. Burnish the front brake rotors and pads. See BURNISHING BRAKE PADS & ROTORS  .
