Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear compartment latch striker.
  2. Install the nuts in order retain the latch striker.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Adjust the rear compartment latch striker as necessary.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the latch striker nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the rear fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT -- REAR BUMPER .
  5. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Compartment Sill Plate Replacement - Rear  .
