Installation Procedure

  1. If the fuel filler door bumpers (2) are removed, install new fuel filler door bumpers (2).

  2. Install the fuel filler door (2) to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the fasteners (1) to retain the fuel filler door (2) to the vehicle.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the fuel filler cap tether (3) to the fuel filler door (1).
  5. Install the fuel filler cap (2).
  6. Close the fuel filler door.
