Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the side rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  2. Disconnect the side rear door upper latch lock rod from the side rear door upper latch (1).
  3. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the side rear door upper latch (1) to the door.
  4. Remove the side rear door upper latch (1) from the door.
