Up and Down Adjustment

  1. Remove the sliding side door upper roller cover. Refer to Roller Bracket Cover Replace - Sliding Door Upper .
  2. Remove the sliding side door lower roller cover.
  3. Loosen the bolts that retain the upper front roller to the door.

  4. Loosen the bolts that retain the lower front roller to the door.
  5. Loosen the nuts that retain the rear roller to the door.
  6. Adjust the door up or down until you obtain the desired position.
    CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  7. Tighten the nuts that retain the rear roller to the door. Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  8. Tighten the bolts that retain the upper front roller to the door. Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  9. Tighten the bolts that retain the lower front roller to the door. Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  10. Install the sliding side door lower roller cover.
  11. Install the sliding side door upper roller cover. Refer to Roller Bracket Cover Replace - Sliding Door Upper .
