Installation Procedure

- Slide the recliner assemblies (1) into the seat adjuster tracks (5).
- Install the recliner rod (2).CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the recliner fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Install the seat adjuster reinforcement bracket (4).
- Install the seat adjuster reinforcement bracket fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the outboard seat adjuster track reinforcement bracket (3).
- Install the reinforcement bracket fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Install the seat back frame. Refer to Seat Back Frame Replacement - Front .
- Connect the lumbar electrical connector, if equipped.
- Install the adjuster track covers. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front .
- Install the manual seat back recliner handle.
- Install the manual seat back recliner handle fastener.
Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
- Install the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front .
- Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
