Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connector for the IP storage compartment light.
  2. Install the right IP trim plate into the IP by pushing the trim plate forward into the IP.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the two fasteners located in the IP storage compartment opening that secure the IP trim plate to the IP.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).

  4. Remove the right IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (IP) Outer Trim Cover Replacement  .
