Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the IP cluster trim plate to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the fasteners that retain the IP cluster trim plate to the IP.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).

  4. Install the top IP cluster trim cover and push pin fasteners.
  5. Install the left IP air outlet vent. Refer to Deflector Replacement - Instrument Panel Air - Left  .
  6. Install the right IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right  .
  7. Install the drivers side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement  .
  8. Install the IP center trim plate. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - IP Center  .
  9. Install the left IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (IP) Outer Trim Cover Replacement  .

  10. Install the ignition cylinder bezel (1).
