Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the IP upper trim pad on to the IP.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the fasteners that secure the IP Upper trim pad (1) to the IP retainer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).

  3. Install the IP cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster  .
  4. Install the right IP trim panel. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right  .
  5. Install the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement  .

  6. Install left and right windshield garnish moldings. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT -- WINDSHIELD PILLAR in Interior Trim.
