Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the center IP trim plate. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - IP Center  .
  2. Remove the center console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console  .
  3. Remove the console tray insert. Refer to Console Tray Insert Replacement  .
  4. Release on the rearward tab in order to push the accessory port (1) out of the console.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
