Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Non-Folding)  or Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Folding)  .
  2. Pull back the trim on the right rear seat bolster in order to expose the rear compartment release handle cable, if equipped.

  4. Reposition the rear compartment release handle cable from the right rear seat bolster, if equipped.
  5. Pull back the rear seat bolster trim to expose the bolts to the rear seat frame.
  6. Remove the bolts from the left and/or right rear seat bolster.

  8. Remove the left and/or right rear seat bolster from the rear seat back frame.
  9. Remove the push-in retainers from the center of the rear seat bolsters.

  10. Remove the push-in tab from the end of the rear seat bolsters.

  11. Remove the push-in J-hook retainers from the rear seat bolsters.

  12. Remove the rear seat bolsters trim cover from the rear seat bolsters pads.
