Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the front seat head restraint to the full up position.
  2. Insert a small diameter tool in the hole in both head restraint retainers and press in to release the rod.
  3. Remove the front seat head restraint from the front seat.

  5. Use the following procedure to remove the two support rods from the head restraint:
    • Firmly grasp each rod and rotate it 90 degrees.
    • Pull the rods out of the head restraint.
