Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel.
  3. Remove the brake rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR .

  4. Remove the axle nut dust cover (4).
  5. Remove the cotter pin (2) and retainer (3) from the wheel drive shaft nut.
  6. Remove the wheel drive shaft retaining nut.
  7. Remove the wheel hub and bearing retaining bolts.

  8. Separate the wheel drive shaft from the wheel hub and bearing using J 45859  (2) or equivalent.

  9. Remove the wheel hub and bearing (1) from the vehicle.
