All Speakers Inoperative

  1. Low level audio output of the radio shorted - Test all radio low level audio outputs for a short. Refer to CIRCUIT TESTING and to WIRING REPAIRS .
  2. Remote radio control supply voltage circuit is open or shorted - Test the remote radio control supply voltage circuit of the radio for an open or a short. Refer to CIRCUIT TESTING and to WIRING REPAIRS .
  3. Rear seat audio enable signal circuit is shorted - Test the rear seat audio enable signal circuit of the radio for a short. Refer to CIRCUIT TESTING and to WIRING REPAIRS .
  4. Radio on signal circuit is open or shorted - Test the radio on signal circuit of the radio for an open or a short. Refer to CIRCUIT TESTING and to WIRING REPAIRS .
  5. Amplifier control circuit is open or a shorted - Test the amplifier control circuit of the switch amplifier power relay for an open or a short. Refer to CIRCUIT TESTING and to WIRING REPAIRS .

    If the amplifier control circuit test result is acceptable, test the following circuits for an open, and refer to CIRCUIT TESTING and to WIRING REPAIRS :

    • Accessory voltage circuit of the switch amplifier power relay.
    • Ground circuit of the switch amplifier power relay
    • Amplifier supply voltage circuit of the Bose amplifiers
    • Battery positive voltage circuit of the Bose amplifiers
    • Ground circuit of the Bose amplifiers

      If the ground circuit test result is acceptable, replace the switch amplifier power relay.
