Installation Procedure

Install the seat belt retractor to the vehicle.
CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Install the seat belt retractor retaining bolt to the vehicle.
Tighten

Tighten the seat belt retractor retaining bolt to 52 N.m (38 ft lbs).

Install the seat belt guide to the vehicle.
Install the seat belt guide retaining bolt to the vehicle.
Tighten

Tighten the seat belt guide retaining bolt to 52 N.m (38 ft lbs).
Install the body side trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT BODY SIDE .
Install the body side lower garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE LOWER REAR .
Install the body side upper garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE REAR UPPER .
