Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the assist handle if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement - Front Passenger Seat .
  2. Release the bottom edge of the seatback cover (2).
  3. Release the hook and loop strips that retain the seatback cover to the seatback foam pad (1).
  4. Remove the armrest. Refer to Armrest Replacement - Front Seat (All Except Luxury)  or Armrest Replacement - Front Seat (Luxury Y91)  .
  5. In order to ease removal, place a piece of cardboard between the seatback cover and the foam pad.
  6. Working from side to side, carefully lift the seatback cover from the foam pad.
