Installation Procedure

  1. Install the console and drink tray to the seat cushion frame.

    CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  2. Install the bolts retaining the console and drink tray the seat cushion frame.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 4 N.m (35 in lbs).

  3. Install the carpet covering the center of the seat cushion frame along the rear edge of the seat, under the console.
  4. Install the hog rings in order to retain the carpet to the frame.
  5. Install the rear storage tray to the vehicle. Refer to Storage Tray Replacement - Rear (Luxury Y91) .
