Wheel Cylinder: Removal

- Raise support the vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove the brake drum. See BRAKE DRUM .
- Remove the brake shoes. See BRAKE SHOE .
- Clean the dirt and foreign material around the wheel cylinder.
- Remove the bleeder valve.
- Disconnect the brake pipe fitting from the wheel cylinder. Plug the open brake pipe ends.
- Remove the wheel cylinder mounting bolts.
- Remove the wheel cylinder.
