Pressure Control Solenoid Valve: Removal

  1. Remove the case side cover. See appropriate AUTOMATIC article in TRANSMISSION SERVICING.
  2. Disconnect the transaxle wiring harness.
  3. Using a small screwdriver or pick, remove the pressure control solenoid valve retainer (314E) from the control valve body (301). See Figure .
  4. Remove the pressure control solenoid (322).
  5. Remove the "O" ring seals (307, 316) from the PC solenoid valve (322) ONLY if they are damaged.
