Auxiliary Coolant Pump Hose: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Drain coolant.
  3. Remove battery box /UHFB assembly.
  4. Remove auxiliary coolant pump hose clamp and hose from engine port.

    CAUTION: MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED ON THE HOIST. TO HELP AVOID PERSONAL INJURY WHEN A VEHICLE IS ON A HOIST, PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE VEHICLE ON THE OPPOSITE END FROM WHICH COMPONENTS ARE BEING REMOVED.
  5. Raise vehicle.
  6. Remove auxiliary coolant pump hose clamp and hose from pump outlet.
