Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the upper control arm.
  2. Install the bolts and the nuts which secure the upper control arm to the crossmember. See Figure. Tighten the nuts to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).
  3. Install the upper control arm to the knuckle. Tighten the nut which secures the upper control arm to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).
  4. Connect the height sensor link to the lower control arm as necessary. See Figure.
  5. Remove the utility stand.
  6. Remove the utility stand.
  7. Install the brake hose bracket bolts.
  8. Install the rear stabilizer link. Tighten the stabilizer link ball nut to 31 N.m (23 lb ft).
  9. Install the rear wheel.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
