Park Brake Pedal Assembly: Installation

  1. Connect the front park brake cable to the park brake lever.
  2. Install the park brake lever.
  3. Install the park brake lever mounting nuts. Tighten the nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Connect the park brake release cable to the park brake lever. See Figure.
  5. Connect the park brake warning lamp connector.
  6. Install the left side hinge pillar panel.
  7. Install the left side kick panel.
  8. Install the MID-Bussed Electrical Center bracket.
  9. Raise the vehicle.
  10. Support the vehicle with safety stands.
  11. Install the rear cables to the equalizer by pulling down on the intermediate cable and install the rear cables to the equalizer bar. See Figure.
  12. Remove the safety stands.
  13. Lower the vehicle.
  14. Connect the negative battery cable.
