Brake Pedal Assembly: Removal

- Remove the pushrod retainer from the brake pedal pin. See Fig 1 .
- Remove the stop light switch from the brake pedal pushrod pin.
- Remove the pushrod from the brake pedal pin.
- Remove the bolts that retain the instrument panel center support bracket to the steering column bracket. See Fig 2 .
- Remove the bolt that retains the reinforcement to the instrument panel center support bracket.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the remote control door lock receiver.
- Remove the instrument panel center support bracket.
- Remove the brake pedal nut. See Fig 3 .
- Remove the brake pedal bolt.
- Remove the brake pedal.
- Remove the bushings and the spacer from the brake pedal.
