Master Cylinder Reservoir: Installation

  1. Lubricate the NEW O-rings and the reservoir-to-housing fittings. Use clean brake fluid.
  2. Insert the O-rings into the grooves in the reservoir. Ensure that the O-rings are properly seated. See Fig 2.
  3. Install the reservoir to the master cylinder body. Use your hand in order to push the reservoir straight down into the body.
  4. Install the spring pins in order to retain the reservoir. DO NOT damage the reservoir or the cylinder body.
  5. Install the master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER .
