Adjusting Screw: Installation

- Use the brake shoe spanner and spring remover in order to spread the brake shoes apart.
- Install the adjuster. Ensure that the adjuster engages the brake shoes, the park brake actuator, and the adjuster actuator properly.
- Install the adjuster spring.
- Install the straight end of the adjuster spring into the brake shoe.
- Install the hook end of the adjuster spring to the adjuster actuator.
- Install the brake drum. See BRAKE DRUM .
