Master Cylinder: Removal

  1. Apply the parking brake and block the wheels.
  2. Disconnect the brake pipes from the master cylinder.
  3. Plug the open brake pipe ends with rubber plugs.
  4. Remove the master cylinder nuts and bolts.
  5. Remove the master cylinder from the vehicle.
  6. Drain the master cylinder reservoir of all the brake fluid.
  7. Remove the reservoir from the master cylinder, if needed
