Disc Brake Hardware - Front Dual Piston: Installation

  1. Clean area using denatured alcohol.
  2. Dry area using non-lubricated, filtered air.
  3. Apply high temperature silicone brake lubricant to the brake caliper pin bolts. DO NOT apply lubricant to the brake pad hardware.
  4. Install the bushings to the mounting bracket.
  5. Install the brake pad wear sensors.
  6. Install the brake pads.
  7. Install the front brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER - FRONT DUAL PISTON .
  8. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. With the engine running, firmly pump the brake pedal three times.
