Brake Caliper Bracket - Front: Installation

- Install the new bushing and sleeves.
- Install the front brake caliper bracket mounting bolts. Tighten the brake caliper mounting bracket bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the brake pad assembly.
- Install the tire and wheel assembly.
- Lower the vehicle.
- With the engine OFF, gradually apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance.
- Slowly release the brake pedal.
- Wait 15 seconds, then repeat steps 6 and 7 until a firm brake pedal is obtained. This will properly seat the brake caliper pistons and brake pads.
- Fill the brake master cylinder to the proper level. See MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR FILLING under BLEEDING.
