Parking Brake Cable (Front): Removal

  1. Raise vehicle.
  2. Loosen parking brake cable at the equalizer.
  3. Remove front parking brake cable from parking brake cable connector.
  4. Lower vehicle.
  5. Remove front cable from lever assembly.
  6. Remove cowl side panel trim.
  7. Remove lever assembly. See PARKING BRAKE PEDAL .
  8. Remove step trim plate.
  9. Remove front cable. Unclip cable and pull through the body.
