Brake Pedal: Removal

  1. Remove the booster pushrod (4) and stoplight switch (2) from brake pedal (1). See STOPLIGHT SWITCH .

  2. Detach and pivot the instrument panel down to access the brake pedal mounting bolt. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANEL article.
  3. Remove nut from brake pedal pivot bolt.
  4. Remove brake pedal pivot bolt.
  5. Remove brake pedal (1), spacers and bushings from vehicle.
