Valve Lifters: Installation

- Apply clean engine oil to roller and outside of valve lifter assembly. Install valve lifter. Install valve lifter guides on valve lifters. Install guide hold-down bracket. Ensure both tabs of bracket are in holes of valve lifter guides.
- Install valve lifter guide hold-down bracket bolt. Install cylinder head assembly. See CYLINDER HEAD .
