Removal (Bank 2)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cables from both batteries. Drain cooling system. See DRAINING & REFILLING COOLING SYSTEM . Cover air intake pipe with tape to keep foreign material out. Remove air cleaner outlet duct.
  2. Remove right side charged air outlet hose and clamps. Remove PCV hose and clamp. Remove fuel injection control module. Remove fuel filter. Remove EGR valve.
  3. Disconnect high pressure fuel rail line coming from junction block. Loosen high pressure injection lines at four injectors. Loosen high pressure lines injection at 4 fittings on fuel rail. Mark high pressure injection lines in order and remove them. Remove 3 bolts holding fuel rail.
