Park Pawl Installation

  1. If equipped with a park pawl, install the apply assembly guide. Align tang of C5 piston return spring assembly with notch in main housing. See Fig 1. Install C5 piston return spring assembly. Install pawl support pin into main housing.
  2. Install pawl return spring onto park pawl. See Fig 2. Align and install park pawl with support pin (pawl return spring toward rear). Connect pawl return spring to main housing.
