C1 Clutch Housing Piston Inspection

- Inspect C1 housing piston for damage. See Figure and Fig 1 . Ensure piston ball moves freely and has a minimum of .04" (1.0 mm) travel parallel to centerline of C1 piston housing. If specification is not met, replace C1 housing piston.
- Measure thickness of piston thrust washer in at least 3 places. Compare measurement to specifications. See ROTATING CLUTCH MODULE SPECIFICATIONS table under TRANSMISSION SPECIFICATIONS. If thickness is less than minimum specification at any point, replace thrust washer.
