Removal & Installation (Automatic Transmission)

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Remove shift handle retaining clip from shift handle. Remove shift handle. Open center console lid.
- Remove center console compartment inserts. Remove transmission select switch, if equipped. Remove nuts from rear of center console. Remove cup holder insert.
- Remove screws from front of center console. Remove center console. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten screws and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
