Removal (All Models)

Recover the refrigerant. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Loosen the nut from the evaporator tube fitting. Use the Orifice Tube Removal in order to remove the orifice tube from the evaporator tube. See Figure. Cap or plug the open line.
