Removal & Installation (Passenger-side)

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See ZONE 5 under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Remove instrument panel upper trim pad. See INSTRUMENT PANEL UPPER TRIM PAD . Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip from passenger-side air bag module connector. See Figure. Disconnect passenger-side air bag module connector. Remove passenger-side air bag module bolts. Remove passenger-side air bag module from instrument panel. See Fig 1.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten passenger-side air bag module bolts and trim panel screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system. See ZONE 5 under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
