Removal (Pickup)

NOTE: Combustible Gas Detector (J-45878) is required for this procedure. See Figure .

Remove the CNG fuel tank. See FUEL TANK . Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the exhaust system heat shields. Remove and discard the frame support bracket nuts. See Figure . Remove the frame support brackets. Lower the vehicle. Remove the CNG fuel tank mounting frame. Discard the fuel tank frame mounting bolts.
