Removal & Installation (Union-To-Low Pressure Lock-Off)

NOTE: Combustible Gas Detector (J-45878) is required for this procedure. See Figure .
  1. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  . Disconnect the negative battery cable(s). Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the center fuel line from the Low Pressure Lock-Off (LPL) solenoid fuel line. See Figure . Lower the vehicle. Disconnect the LPL fuel line from the LPL solenoid fitting. See Figure . Remove the line from the vehicle.
