Removal & Installation (4.3L)

NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis refer to numbers in illustrations.

Turn ignition off. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor harness connector (1). See Fig 1. Loosen the clamps (2) on the MAF sensor. Carefully remove the MAF (3) and IAT (4) sensor from the air intake duct. Ensure that the MAF sensor flow arrows point away from the air cleaner assembly. Install the MAF sensor into the air intake ducts. Tighten the clamps on the MAF sensor. Connect the MAF sensor harness connector.
