Removal & Installation (4.8L, 5.3L & 6.0L)

Remove the engine cover. Disconnect the spark plug wires at the ignition coils. Disconnect the ignition coil harness connector. See Fig 1. Remove the ignition coil mounting bolts. See Fig 2. Remove the ignition coil. Install the ignition coil to the bracket. To install reverse removal procedure. Tighten ignition coil bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
