Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hose/tube as necessary.
  2. Install the vent hose to the throttle body and the valve rocker arm cover.

  3. Install the PCV valve (2) to the tube (1).
  4. Install the PCV tube (1) to the intake manifold and valve rocker arm cover.
  5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L (LQ4))  or Engine Sight Shield Replacement (6.0L (LQ9)) .
