Removal & Installation (2.2L)

Turn ignition off. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect the secondary AIR pump inlet and outlet hoses. Disconnect harness connectors from AIR pump and AIR pump solenoid. See Fig 1. Remove the AIR pump solenoid from AIR pump. Remove AIR pump retaining bolts. Remove AIR pump. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten AIR pump retaining bolts to specification.
