Oil Pump Replacement: Installation

  1. Install crankshaft oil deflector.
  2. Install crankshaft oil deflector nuts. Tighten crankshaft oil deflector nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Assemble oil pump, driveshaft and a NEW retainer.
  4. Install oil pump assembly. Position oil pump onto the locating pins.
  5. Install and tighten oil pump bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Install oil pan. See OIL PAN .
