Water entering air intake system that reaches MAF sensor could cause this DTC to set. Water rapidly cools the hot sensing elements in the MAF sensor causing a false indication of excessive airflow. Check for evidence of water intrusion in the secondary air injection system and the air induction system.
A poor connection in the ignition 1 voltage circuit of the MAF sensor can cause DTC P0103 to set. If condition is intermittent, see INTERMITTENT CONDITIONS under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
