Wheel Stud: Removal

NOTE: Tools Required: Tie Rod Puller (J-6627-A).
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
  3. Remove the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly. See HUB & BEARING ASSEMBLY .
  4. Separate the backing plate from the rear hub. See REAR DISC BRAKE BACKING PLATE .
  5. Use the J-6627-A in order to extract the stud from the hub.
