Action Taken When DTC Sets

The PCM will illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) during the second consecutive trip in which the diagnostic test ran and failed.
The control module records the operating conditions at the time the diagnostic fails. The control module stored this information in the Freeze Frame/Failure Records.
