Removal (Federal)

  1. Turn off the ignition. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect the electrical connector from the boost pressure sensor. See Figure.
  2. Remove the nut retaining the boost pressure sensor bracket and the coolant tube. Lift the coolant tube off of the stud and move it out of the way. Remove the boost pressure sensor and the bracket from the intake manifold. Remove the bracket from the sensor. Inspect the boost sensor seal for damage. Replace as necessary.
