EGR Valve Throttle Solenoid: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cables. Loosen the charged air cooler outlet duct clamp. Remove the charged air cooler outlet duct. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) throttle valve solenoid electrical connector. See Figure. Disconnect the EGR throttle valve solenoid vacuum lines. Remove the solenoid bolt and the solenoid.
