Removal (HO2S 1)

  1. Turn OFF the ignition. HO2S 1 is located in exhaust manifold. See Figure. Remove fuel injector sight shield (upper engine cover) from engine. Remove the HO2S 1 retaining clip from the bracket.
  2. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector tab from the HO2S 1 retaining clip. Remove the HO2S electrical connector retainer. Raise and support the vehicle. harness connector. Using Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J-39194), remove the HO2S from the exhaust manifold.
